FTS Performance

WE have sql server 2000 with a table around 10 text field and one full-text field. over 1million rows.

How can we realize a 5 seconds or less full text query?
resuts should be order by a date field.

Note: full text field is in Chinese.

if in solution of asp: by what sentence.
if in solution of isapi, by what dev tool?nobody?
