Plz help me. what should i do for full text indexing.

Will the full text indexing increase the speed of webpage accessing for searching?

Thanks in advance.

Fulltext is not a supported feature for MSDE. You have to upgrade to Sql2k5 Express edition to get Fulltext.

Hi,
I′m have problems with FTS used by CS and SPS.
I saw a article 308797 that requires a support pack. How can I obtain this
support pack until I test a SP4 for verify if this problem fix in Service
Pack.
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;308797

The particular kb article says this problem was fixed in SP2. Installing SP2
or later should fix it.

|||I don't see where it mentions a hot fix. I do see this:
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
This problem was first corrected in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 2
It is probable that the sp was not applied correctly, I would try to really
SP3 and ensure you upgrade SQL FTS. It is possible that there has been some
corruption of mssdmn.exe
